The COMPLETE Guide
1.) The first thing to do is make an account on the Dan-Ball site. If you have not already done this, click on the "Home" tab located in the yellow bar near the top of the Dan-Ball site. After clicking it, you will see a space on the left side of the page that has two white typing bars and the word "Registration" underlined and in blue up above the two lines. Click it.
Once you click Registration, just fill out the form. Warning: 'username' is what you will sign in with, but 'nickname' is what will be shown as account name.
2.) If you click upload one of five things will happen. Upload past 12 hours to a total of 50, 2nd only once can uploaded, it will have a typing line and the words Ok and Cancel, it is not possible to upload it or user registration is required. If you have a typing line that means that you can upload! If it says Upload past 12 hours to a total of 50, that means that there have been 50 uploads in the past twelve hours. That is the maximum amount of uploads allowed. If it says 2nd only once can uploaded, that means that either you have uploaded from that account, or from that computer in the last two days, and you can't upload, so you have to wait until it has been two days. You can only upload once every two days, and there can only be a total of 50 uploads every 12 hours. If it says it is not possible to upload it or user registration is required, make sure you are not trying to upload someone else's upload!
3.) If you get an upload spot, then it can not be taken away unless you refresh the page, close the internet, or navigate away from the page. A smart thing to do is to wait until there have been 49 uploads in the past 12 hours, and then upload, so your upload will be at the top of the list of recent uploads.
4.) The best time to get an upload is midnight and noon in a particular time zone. Dunno which one...
5.) To search for an upload, click on save data below the screen. You will see the most recent uploads. To veiw one, click on the play button. To search a keyword, type it in the big box at the top. Choose the period and whether you want the results to be listed by most recently uploaded or most voted first. To search a name, type it in the large box at the top and tick the exact word box.
