Some people say that weapons are necessary to maintain peace and that free-will is an untrustworthy virtue. Are weapons necessary? I say not. Just watch the music video "Boom" by System of a Down. It is a bit radical but its point is strong.

Nope. If they have never been invented in the first place, we would have never had the madness of the Cold War, nor tensions with NK or Iran. To maintain peace? Quite the opposite.

I agree, weaponry was the most useless technology ever. World diplomats should cower under the power of their people rather than another's missiles.

Yes, countries build nukes just to make themselves look big, but then give into the temtation of power...Ah well, we live in a mad, insane world inhabited by the fat cats and those people who eat all the pie.

I disagree. If no weapons were ever made, Would we have to strangle sheep? or run after chickens and crush them with our bare hands?

I think this is about being against weapons to use on other people...And we don't use weapons yo kill for food, the animals go into a factory...

No matter what someone does it is not right to kill a human or any intelligent life! No one DESERVES to die... Animals are necessary, and what vegetarians say is that animals are ALIVE but hello! Plants are alive too!
